Food for Thought AT W.L. SeatoN, Clarence fulton, charles bloom, VERNON, and Kalamalka SEcondary schools AND AT THE ALTERNATIVE LEARNING PROGRAM

Poverty is an elusive, invisible problem. Many of our students can get through the week, but for reasons beyond their control they go hungry on weekends. Food for Thought is a program aimed at assisting those in need by offering a selection of healthy foods and other essentials that they can take home at the end of each week, in a manner that respects all students involved.

“I really wanted to send you a message to say a Huge Thank you to all of you once again for the help on the Fridays that you give to my daughter and I. … This help you and this wonderful school give us is such a beautiful kindness and there are never enough words to say how grateful we both are to you all.”
