Like every other organization in our community, the Okanagan Learning Foundation has had to adapt our programs to the reality of the COVID-19 pandemic. The biggest impact has been in our food pantries, which address food security for students at WL Seaton, Charles Bloom and Fulton Secondary Schools.
The teachers-in-charge and staff at each school have carefully adjusted our processes to minimize any risk of transmission of the virus. This has been accomplished by pre-packing bags of food, and scheduling student visits to the food pantries.
We all look forward to the day the pandemic ends, but until then the Okanagan Learning Foundation will do everything possible to continue helping students and teachers in the North Okanagan.
